Marina Cup & Mosier Cup

The annual Mosier Cup racing season is underway! These great events are a chance for anyone to experience the thrill of racing, and you will be surprised how much it will help your sailing skills.All races conclude with the crews gathering for drinks, food, and an awards ceremony with trophies for the top three finishers. Novice to advanced sailors are always welcome to join as crew, or more experienced sailors can create a new team.
The first place season overall team receives $500 in Marina Sailing credit, $250 for second place and $125 for third. Call to get on board and join the fun!

Sailing classes Los Angeles

The fall Mosier Cup racing series has begun with races in Marina del Rey and the annual 2-day race from Long Beach to Catalina and back. The next race is October 21 is Channel Islands. If you would like to get more information about racing or to join a team, or create your own team, contact your local office. Be sure to stick around for the post-race festivities with barbecues and awards, even if you didn’t race!

Another exciting late summer and fall racing season has concluded with the Neptune's Bastards winning, skippered by David Lutton. Second and third were perennial competitors, the Manhattans and the Keel Haulers.

Marina Cup 2019 Race 5

March 25

After a few close races, the season continues! The Press Gang won a close one in Long Beach on March 11, but The Manhattans lead in the overall standings. The race starts at 10am and boats are back at the dock by 4pm, followed by a member mixer with free appetizers and a no-host bar. Contact ci@marinasailing.com or call 805-985-5219 to get aboard!

Newport to Ensenada Race 2019

The 70th edition of the largest fleet sailboat race in the western hemisphere starts on April 28th from Newport Beach. This race is a staple in the sailing community and allows humble amateurs to race alonside Amrica's Cup sailors, Olympians, and World Champoins.
